On Saturday, March 30th, 2019 I attended the sold-out show of legendary the NYHC band, Gorilla Biscuits at the Roxy in West Hollywood, CA. Fury & Winds of Promise opened for them. This show had sold-out quickly so they added an earlier show on the same day. Was certainly glad to see the bands still had enough energy left to do it again 4 hours later!
There were more than a few cool moments with a tribute to GB’s fallen bassist, Alex Brown, a cover of the Minor Threat track of the same name and a shout-out to Uniform Choice.
I had a temporary phone failure so my video of the first Gorilla Biscuits track didn’t survive, but fortunately someone else captured the moment:
