Welcome to the Thrash Metal Onslaught blog!
I started this blog since the main metal sites/blogs didn’t cover thrash exclusively if at all. In fact if a thrash band isn’t part of “Big 4” plus-or-minus the next 10 (Exodus, Overkill, Kreator, etc), there seemed to be literally no coverage.
Looking at the “readers polls” of one such site shows no love for thrash at all when there are zero thrash albums in the top 20 yet Alice in Chains is among the top 20 metal albums of 2018. Considering there were so many great thrash albums released in 2018 there should have been at least some acknowledgment.
